PIT CREW CHALLENGE
• Finishing order of Pit Crew Challenge determines pit selection for All-Star Challenge

NEXTEL OPEN
SEGMENT ONE
• Qualified teams start the first of two 20-lap segments
• Caution flag thrown for five laps at the end of the first segment
• Pit stop is optional
SEGMENT TWO
• Green flag drops to begin final 20-lap segment of race
• Top two (2) finishers and fans' vote winner (must finish on the lead lap) transfer into the All-Star Challenge

ALL-STAR CHALLENGE
• Free pass rule throughout
• All restarts are double file
SEGMENT ONE
• Qualified teams start the first of four 20-lap segments
• Caution flag thrown for five laps at the end of the first segment
• Pit stop is optional
SEGMENT TWO
• Green flag drops to begin second 20-lap segment of race
• 10-minute break at the end of the second segment (adjustments permitted)
• Cars will maintain track position for the next segment
SEGMENT THREE
• Green flag drops to begin third 20-lap segment of race
• Caution flag thrown for minimum stop-and-go pit stop
• Teams will start final segment they way they exit pit road
SEGMENT FOUR
• Green flag drops to begin final 20-lap segment of race
• Only green-flag laps count in the final segment
• $1 million prize to winner
